Adv. Anjum Shaha is an Assistant Professor at School of Law, Auro University, Surat, Gujarat. She is motivated Science, Education and Law graduate and post graduate in Law and Human Rights and Duties Education as well as completed Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law and Information Technology, having 11 years of teaching as well as administrative experience in the field of education. She is 3rd Merit in 10th – SSC Board examination. She did Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from S. N. Mor Arts, Commerce and Science College Tumsar, RTMNU and scored the highest marks in Physics. She completed her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Physics and Mathematics from P. P. College, Gondia, RTMNU. She did Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from RTMNU’S Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Main Branch, Nagpur and secured 7th Merit position in LL.B. and got three Gold Medals in Environmental Law, Jurisprudence and Administrative Law. She completed Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Criminal Law. She secured 1st Merit in her Post Graduate Degree i.e. Master of Human Rights and Duties Education (MHRDE) and. She has also secured 3rd Merit in Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law and Information Technology. She also qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) – Law in 2019. She qualified the PET examination of Gondwana University, Gondwana. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Law from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur.
She is having Maharashtra Cadets Corps (MCC) Certificate and National Cadets Corps (NCC)- 4 Maharashtra Battalion, ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificates in ‘A’ Grade. She attended the NCC – Annual Training Camp from Nagpur, NCC- Thal Sainik Selection Camp (TSSC), Nagpur and NCC – National Level Camp i.e. Rock Climbing Training Camp (RCTC), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
She started her career as an Advocate in District Court, Session Court and Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench, Nagpur. She handled many cases during the practice. Before joining Auro University, she was simultaneously working as an Assistant Professor (Visiting Faculty) in RTMNU’S Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law, Main Branch, Nagpur, RTMNU’S Post Graduate Teaching Department of Law, Nagpur and Dr. Ambedkar College of Law, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur. She has also worked with the various CBSE School’s of Nagpur.
She has written research papers on ‘Access to Environmental Justice and Role of National Green Tribunal (NGT) in India’, ‘Protection of Environment as an essential part of Human Rights protection in India’, ‘Implementation of Waste Disposal Rules with special reference to Wainganga Sugar and Power Limited situated in Bhandara District, Maharashtra’, ‘The Nature and Scope of Issues arising with Digital Signature with special reference to Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) under Information Technology Act, 2000’, ‘Default Bail : A Fundamental Right’ and write an articles on ‘Untold Story of Women in Science and Technology’ and ‘Importance of NCC in Human Life’.
