World Food Day is an annual event celebrated by the food and agriculture organisation of United Nations. Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has adopted the theme of "ZERO HUNGER by 2030" in 2018. This annual event aims to promote worldwide awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and for the need to ensure food security and nutritious diets for all. The focus of the day is that food is a basic and fundamental human right. In this spirit, World Food Day 2018 was celebrated with adequate responsibility and flair to promote #Zero Hunger. The day commenced with traditional diya lighting ceremony held at the reception area and attended by the senior management team of AURO University.
Two COMPETITIONS – Blind Tasting Competition and No Flame Masterchef competition were organised by P.G. Event Management students at AURO Campus (student courtyard) on Tuesday 16-10-2018. The competitions sparked a high level of intensity and creativity in the students. Students across schools participated in this event and added oneness to the university student crowd. All chefs from the School of Hospitality Management contributed immensely towards making the event a roaring success.
