Challenges of Change by Mr Mrunal Shukla
Mr Mrunal Shukla emphasized the importance of adapting to and thriving in the rapidly changing world.
Dramatics (VAST) Philippe, Thierry & Gopal, Auroville
The theme of workshop was “Emotion – Energy in motion” in which the importance of connecting with your inner self was highlighted because it is important to arouse and manage emotions for professional success. The workshop was conducted through various activities like rhythmic walking, rhythmic exercises and eye contact exercises. The concept of space was demonstrated through rhythmic movements.
Interaction with Faculty of Design School
Design students had a very interesting interaction with the Design team faculties.
Central Automation
Mr Rakesh Mehta shared his experiences with students and told them how the internet technology impacts our day to day life. He also gave an insight into the everyday life of the industries.
Game of Thoughts:
Ms Veena Vaishy conducted a A very thought-provoking session which helped the students to recognise, rationalise and replace their negative thoughts with a more realistic and positive thought process.
Importance of Learning
Mr Atul Garg focussed on three things – emotional intelligence, communication skills and organizational skills.

Brain Gym & Body: Debiprasad Pramanik
Various brain gym exercises and other activities were conducted to make the students more aware about their bodies.
Role of Youth in Nation Building
Mr Amit Mathai Marette, Co-Founder, FULCRUM mentioned that youth need to see themselves as leaders and engage with the nation responsibly.
Heritage Walk
The students went on a heritage walk to the heart of Surat city i.e. the Old Fort and Dutch cemetery. It was a joyous experience as the team explored these places which have been a part of our ancient heritage.
Innovation Hour and Incubation @ Auro under SSIP
Dr. C V Ramana and Mr. Gaurav Ashesh explained the New Product Design Mr. Sandeep Sharma talked about AURO SSIP cell and entrepreneurship opportunities.
A pottery workshop by Ms. Juhika Bhanjdeo.:
The students were shown how to make various things from clay.
Orgami with Paper : Mr. Krunal Zaveri
The students learned the art of Origami through individual and group activities.
Ice-breaking Session:
Several games such as ‘Paper-folding dance’, ‘Tambola’ and ‘Housie’ were conducted and played out by students under the supervision of faculty members.
