Building professional contacts on a personal level, students are well supported by the Career Development Cell, which offers them a continuous and progressive training that hones their personal social, inter-personal and professional skills right from their first year. Professional and specialized training is imparted through Group Discussions, Interviews and conducting various workshops. Campus interviews are conducted and students are guided to plan their career. Counseling is provided to students to face interviews and to make informed choices, both academic and professional, from among the various options available to them.

As per the philosophy of integral education, AURO University has a very different spin to Career Development. A Career is not the job that the student will get at the end of the course but the skills and values that they will develop to be ready to work and be productive on Day 1 of their work life. With University career development initiative, it starts from the day 1 of the individual who joins the university.
Career Development Cell (CDC) works with each individual to figure out their purpose, their strengths and challenges and their goals. Once they are comfortable with this visualisation, CDC proceeds to making a acquisition plan. The Career Development Plan will integrate the knowledge, skills, attitude and demonstrable behaviour that the student needs to inculcate in order to feel confident and prepared to handle his professional life, with regular assessments, and adjustments, the career plan moves to the next academic year. In addition to using state of the art psychometric assessments, individual counselling sessions, group workshops and guest lectures become a part of career development.
The students are also assisted in internship and placement efforts by the college wherein focus on skills like personal development, resume writing, interviews preparation are tackled. With the student demographics that we have, special focus is on qualities of entrepreneurship and leadership. We also have special industry mentored programs for further learning and encourage live projects for complete learning.
Some of the initiatives are E-LAB - A senior industrialist of SURAT and our chairman board of management mentor 20 budding entrepreneurs to build values based leaders of tomorrow. We have initiated another live internship with the IG Office Surat Range for the MBA Students where they will be working on the projects determined by the IG office in the area of Surat for their career development and exposure .In addition to all of the above most subjects have industry visits and live projects to build relevant competencies and awareness. University also endeavour to create a body of Industrialists who will provide constant feedback and review all their existing frameworks and policies for continuous improvement and competitive edge.
The University moulds its students in such a way that their endeavours and interests transcend traditional boundaries. It is ensured that they do not seek to maintain status quo nor settle for observing change; they rather hope to be powerful instruments of change using their dynamic energy to make their contributions to the world.
