About the Centre
Knowledge is constituted in language and it is only through language that knowledge is communicated. Language learning was once considered nothing more than a hobby, but as the world continues to become increasingly connected, learning a language other than your mother tongue is considered a necessity. Advancing technologies have afforded us the ability to communicate no matter where we are in the world, amplifying the importance of foreign language study.
In today’s world, the importance of being a multi-linguist cannot be undermined. It not only enhances your ability to communicate but also augments your ability to perceive things. By knowing a language, one also learns to appreciate films, music, arts & sports of different cultures. In a globalized world, those who speak multiple languages – particularly foreign languages like Korean, Japanese, French and Mandarin – have a much better chance of communicating with people from diverse linguistic and cultural groups and finding meaningful vocation and avocation.
For people who are looking to learn a new language, or attain greater proficiency in language, AURO University, Surat announces the AURO Language Learning Resource Center (ALLRC). This Center aims to not only instill the necessary language expertise, but also give a glimpse of the history and culture of each distinctive language.

Teaching Pedagogy
The characteristics, basic grammar and functionality of the language will be dealt with in all the courses. Practical work will be carried to improve the learners’ comprehension, writing and speaking skills. Depending upon the level selected, at the end of each course, the learner will be able to use language effectively and fluently; know selected language’s pronunciation features; apply effective presentation techniques and learn writing rules and punctuation.

- On successful completion of the French course, learners would be eligible for the certificate awarded jointly by Alliance Française d'Ahmedabad and AURO Language Learning Resource Center, AURO University.
- On successful completion of the Korean course, learners would be eligible for the certificate awarded jointly by Korean Studies Association and AURO Language Learning Resource Center, AURO University.
- On successful completion of all other courses, learners would be eligible for the certificate from AURO Language Learning Resource Center, AURO University.
