AURO University Social Responsibility Club "AADHAR"
Education at AURO University goes beyond the class to the streets, slums and to those who are not fortunate enough in life. It is very wisely said by Paul Shane Spear “As one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person”. The students of AURO University have converted this philosophy into action through AADHAR a club run by the students. Aadhar recognizes the duties which a responsible citizen should have towards the society. The membership of Aadhar is not tied with any obligation but demands commitment and loyalty towards the social cause. Working towards the cause of humanity defines our dedication to the society. “Adding colours to life “, is the base line of Aadhar which says that it aims to bring positive changes in the life of the poor people. We work together to bring improvisations in their living conditions.
As a first step in this direction Aadhar has adopted the Primary School in village Bhatpore and the members are engaged in activities of teaching, skill development, health awareness, cultural events, and confidence building among school children.
As a first step, the Aadhar Club organised its first event – the Cultural Show in the Bhatpore School on 27th of March 2012, Tuesday. The entire Aadhar team made an attempt to prepare the students of the school to perform several cultural acts. With the joint efforts of the Aadhar team as well as the hard work and dedication of the school students, the cultural event proved to be a great success.
