Bachelor Of Computer Application
The Bachelor of Computer Applications program is a three year full time program at Auro University offered by the School of Information Technology. The School of Information Technology has a focus to deliver an optimal integration of IT Knowledge, Skills and Applications to ensure that the gap between the academia and the industry is bridged to the maximum possible extent in the area of information technology and computer applications. The program aims to deliver dynamically updated curricula with changing times and changing technologies, world class teaching quality by highly experienced and dedicated faculty members and expert professionals from IT Industry apart from state of the art infrastructure, computer lab and softwares.
The students shall be motivated to hands-on learning experience so as to equip them with the optimal integration of knowledge, skills and application approach so that their overall knowledge and skills can be optimally utilized in the IT Industry. The course curriculum and delivery mechanism including the latest blend and integration of pedagogical tools and technology is oriented to align the knowledge and skills of the students in tandem with the growing expectations of the various stakeholders from the IT Industry. The internal faculty mentors and/or the industry mentors shall strive to reorient the IT learning curve of the students to suit the overall requirements of the IT companies from India and abroad. The students will have the opportunity to combat the challenges of job market in IT Industry and experience the various phases of Software Development Life Cycle and be instrumental in contributing to the software development and testing process after the successful completion of the three year program. The students will have twin options after the successful completion of the program: To pursue their masters in computer applications or alternatively take up a job with one of the IT companies in the area of software development and excel par excellence.
